That is very kind, thank you!

Premium Bonds are an investment product issued by National Savings and Investment (NS&I). You don't earn any interest on your savings, but you are entered into a monthly prize draw where you can win between 25 and 1 million tax free.

I am hoping for the 1 million!

Damn the school and its commitment to the education of the children in our care - deep clean over the weekend and back as usual on Monday!

I love my job :)

All decorations down and packed away. Big tree taken to recycling, little tree on terrace, kitchen tree in loft. Am now covered in glitter from the kitchen tree baubles and am sparkling.

I was just writing an essay over the past weekend, about what it's like to go through melanoma surgery (don't ask why), and as I wrote, realized that it was exactly four years since the surgery took place - Feb. 29, 2016. Wow.

Still here. That is all.

Lots of clapping, cheering, banging of saucepans, whistles and what sounded like a ship's hooter from the village for the NHS tonight.

Some nob, at 8pm every Thursday, is letting off military grade explosives, really close to our home and always, just after we get the baby to bed.
