It's that kind of rain that soaks you through, as the old joke goes.

Heaven !

Rain pelting down on the tin roof ....
the fresh smell of rain and wet charcoal replacing burning gum leaf smoke :)

Oh wonderful Chosun.

Let's hope you get a decent amount to fill the creeks and put those fires out!!!

Thumbs up

Yes thanks Delia,

Heavy rain on the coast gradually moving south and some flooding so far.

Lighter rain inland, and some fires in the mountains south of Canberra are still listed as 'out of control' or 'being controlled' - hope they get enough rain soon to put them out for good

Smile Rain for 40hrs and 40mins !!!!

Raining cats and dogs ..... pouring so much that old men are dozing off and thoroughly (and noisily) enjoying their sleeps all over the place !

The sound of rain on the tin roof has been most joyus ! as has been the <20C Temps and mist wafting through the trees in the middle of summer

Had about a foot of rain over the last few days, and we've gone from firestorms to flash floods ......

There has been much less rain inland, but welcome nonetheless ...... I hope all our birdies and other animals are dryish, not too cold, well fed, and safe and sound ......

Roof tiles off and a large tree down at a neighbours cottage. Expected to peak here in a couple of hours regarding wind speed and rain.

Just seen about an hour's snow here in Lufbra - the first this winter. Very slushy underfoot now.

Might be enough for a bit of cold weather movement, hopefully.

A rather stormy (and scary) 17 C today ended with a beautiful line of rain over the Low Countries.

Just had an almighty hail storm. Sounded like M2 .50 cal machinegun fire on the roof. Many terrible floods in Wales. More gale force winds expected overnight.
