Hello Birdbloke.

I magnified on both pictures and first the underside shows largely pale area's where the plumage is more dense above the breast and to the flanks, upperbelly and trousers. The lower section of the median wingcoverts, let alone the greater seem to have lost the overall darker colour.
Darker colour of the bird is a warmer brown and it shows hardly carpal patches.
The rear end to the underwing is a vague brown band.
Silhouette equally invites for a juvenile.
The plumage above is again brown of a darker tint in general, the head a bit paler, the remex a bit darker.
The tail has a whiter base centre and distally towards the end the tail darkens.

The bird has not too much in common with something else but Common Buzzard.
