Mealy Redpoll? Nottingham, UK (1 Viewer)

Appreciate any comments on this bird as I believe it's a Mealy, but have no prior experience.

Stood out from other Lesser Redpolls it was with because it was
a) Noticably bigger than others
b) Very white/grey in appearance all over (including UTCs)

I have checked the separation details as per Lee Evans's recent article and think it's a strong candidate.

I have not tweaked the photos - other than crop and resize.
The last photo is a Lesser taken with same settings and light conditions.

Mealy is same species as Common in America, isn't it? Cause that's what it looks like. Lesser looks browner.

Mealy is another name for Common Redpoll, yes.
