Another quick question: Does anybody know if the Iberian Chiffchaff that was at Pilling Lane Ends in Lancashire in May/June 2019 has been 'officially' accepted by the BOU yet? It was such a gorgeous, showy individual, and a first for me!

Nothing to do with the BOU. It is the BBRC who will assess the record, and I guess they won't have done it yet. They publish a regular Work in Progress file where you can check how individual records are getting along.

Thanks Steve! May I ask how you know this? It would be useful to know for future sightings.

It's in the WIP file on the BBRC website Steve refers to above, but I did know before that as I write the warbler section of the Lancashire Bird Report and the county recorder had forwarded the decision.
