In the Valley today Lapwing 7 young, Pheasant, Raven, Lesser Whitethroat, Goldcrest, Kingfisher, 2 Garden Warbler, 3 Whitethroat, pair Linnet, 8 Reed Bunt, Grey Wag + Young, 150+Wood Pigeon. C156 Canada geese, LRP X3, Oystercatcher x5, Barnacles x3 and Tawny Owl Adult and 2 young

A very quiet month but still gave us 92 species with 4 being new for the year in the form of a first summer Black Redstart, Black Tern x2 ,a fly through Redshank and Hobby x2,other birds of note Whinchat x3, Yellow Wagtail c10 different birds, Wheatears, Dunlin x7, Little Egret, LRP x6, Cuckoo, Barnacles x10, Oystercatcher x10 Adults +4 young, Greylag x2, Common Sandpiper x2, Common Tern x4, Arctic Terns x2, Peregrine, Tawny Owl x4 different birds with one young, Willow Tit seen briefly, Yellowhammer, B H Gull sitting on raft? and we still had Teal, Pochard, Shoveler, Goosander and Snipe, best counts being Carion Crow x60, Mute Swan x34, Lapwing c18 in valley
