My Zeiss Binocular Strap that goes round my neck completely broke away from my Zeiss Binoculars on Saturday. Luckily it happened when I was holding my pair of binoculars while I was removing the binoculars with the strap round my neck, otherwise they could have been severely damaged while out Birdwatching on Saturday. I phoned Zeiss customer service up today and I asked about the cost of replacing the damaged strap for my Zeiss 8x42 HT Binoculars and I said I’ll pay by debit card. I was taken by surprise when I couldn’t pay by debit card or direct debit to a big and major company like Zeiss. It’s either electronic banking, or paying by cheque. Has anyone else come about with the same situation by not being able by direct debit or debit card with any of the big company’s selling binoculars as I have. I didn’t think a big company in the 21st century wouldn’t be able to accept payments by direct debit or debit card.
