In the summer I do it once a week; in the winter, I've been doing it every two weeks. In either case, everything gets an hour soak in 20% vinegar solution. Is that more often than needed? What do you do?

Your taking good care of your feeders, I’ll steal you vinegar idea, that’s worth doing thanks. Me I wash mine about once a month using antibacterial dish soap run the brush in and out wash out good with the hose let air dry. I running ten feeders so I usual wash half at a time to keep feeders going.
