Opticron adaptors for DSLRs (1 Viewer)

Has anyone any experience of the opticron photoadaptors for DSLRs? The ones which use a T mount allowing the scope to be used as the camera lens.
I'm interested in the opticron 41112 adaptor for use with the HDF eyepiece and ES80 GA ED scope.

I have the 41112 adapter and didn't like because you have to be committed. You have to remove your camera lens. You will also have to manually focus and guess / trial and error the correct exposure.
