Goldfinch new retrap 15 Linnet new 48 retrap 42 Also seen/heard Greylag geese Mallard Buzzard Skylark Fieldfare We have a few hundred fieldfare again now, usually foraging in winter wheat - and ignoring the apples I have left out in the garden for them. On my walk home I found a bunting flock - c.10 yellowhammer and at least one reed bunting. Mainly forgetting corvids, gulls, non-natives, pigeons and tits. Many thanks to all concerned, Mike. |

Also seen/heard : Mallard Buzzard (3) Tawny owl (3+) Great spotted woodpecker (3+) Green woodpecker Jay Nuthatch A feeding flock of 100+ included chaffinch, brambling (70-80), reed bunting and yellowhammer were present but generally flew over the nets into high vegetation behind.
