Any thoughts on the new Ultravid HD (8x42) vs Swarovski EL, 8.5x42?

Is HD similar to EL or does it offer some distinct advantages?

I already have an EL and like it but recall that I really liked Leica 8x42 form factor when I had one.
 
Hi,
when I bought my bins last summer, my final decision was between those two. I took the Leica because I thought the image was slightly sharper (that was my impression, but I am not totally sure about that) and I liked the compact form better.
