I think It's a juvenal of the The Subalpine Warbler, but I'm not sure.
Appreciate any help.

I'd say you're right it's a Subalpine (hard to dismiss a Sardinian though) but the pale looking iris indicates it's an older bird, not a juv. Do you have any other pictures? and also when and where in Majorca was the pic taken?

It looks more like Sardinian to me too.

It's the combination of an apparent whitish eye-ring and a pale iris that made me think Subalpine might be the answer but I have to agree it gives a Sardinian feel (which would be much easier on location than subalpine/Moltoni's I guess).

My guess was based on the wholly non-analytical view that the face and bill don't look cute enough for a Subalp!
