Here is a link to the Alaska government website. It gives a variety of birds whom would utilize a nestbox in my region.

Any suggestions? This shall be a first for me.

Depends on where you're considering erecting them? In your garden, what type of habitat, what species you see regularly etc. If you have the space then maybe two or three to attract different species. I guess around your house so perhaps consider Chickadee, Bluebird or Swallow to begin with.
