Kenya November 2019

Our family had an awesome trip to Kenya, with my younger brother and I picking up 202 species 189 of which were lifers! That took me to 534 and my brother to 480.
I don't have the time to upload details here, but I just started a blog and I'm making posts for that trip. You can expect updates every few days, and I'll post the links here.

At this point it's looking like I'll be posting updates once a week, so could take a bit to get through our two week long trip!
Here's the post about our first full day in Kenya: https://birdingbdandbeyond.wordpress...orekenya-pt-2/

Hi Seth

Some nice pix from your Kenya trip, but your blog is the first birding info I've seen on birding in Bangladesh, so I'm actually much more interested in that! Looking forward to more posts.

Cheers
Mike

Thanks! I'm not surprised that you're more interested in Bangladesh as there is definitely an abundance of information on Kenya, but so little on Bangladesh. I personally think BD could be a great destination for birders from around the world as there is such an incredible amount of diversity in this relatively small country. Current official checklist is at 704 I believe, and we have some awesome birds!

I plan on posting whenever I go out for birding which should be at least once a week during winter, though may drop a bit during the hot summer months.

Finally got around to posting about the third day. Short post this time and will be for the next one as well, but then we've got Masai Mara!

A few more lifers on our last day before heading to "the Mara". Highlights were my first hornbill and two different roller.
Hopefully I can get these post coming a little more regularly again.
