Hi, all.

Was out hiking in the wilds today, and saw this guy in a tree. I have several ideas what he might be, but there is something wrong with all of those. Can anyone tell me what he is?

That is a Juniper Titmouse.

Wouldn't the eye ring and wing-bar make it a Gray Vireo?

The beak looks larger than those of a Juniper Titmouse so I'm going with Gray Vireo.

I have to admit, looking more carefully it looks more like a vireo than a titmouse.

Thank you, all. Those were my two options, and I was only clinging to the Titmouse ID because he looks like he's got a slight crest, but many other things say Vireo, so Vireo he is. Apparently, Gray Vireos are uncommon here, and he's a new lifer for me. Thanks again!
