Saturday, October 23, White-tailed lapwing at Ciocănești fish-farm (some 20 km west of Călărași). Poor photo attached.

I noted a great deal of dead cormorants (mostly Great, but a few Pygmy as well). Most likely killed by illegal hunters (you can virtually step on loads of bullet cartridges there).
