= the US ornithologist, Colonel Donald S. McChesney (1895–1983), who (togeher with his wife Marian) also participated in two expeditions to Kenya (1956 in association with Cornell and in 1957 in the joint auspices of Cornell and the BMNH) ... etc., etc.
