The Loch Garten Ospreys (1 Viewer)

Well really, everybody goes to loch Garten primarilly to see the ospreys, (you know Henry and whichever female he aquaints with, perhaps Olive if she turns up!), but if the ospreys are what you really want to see, at close hand, and I mean a few feet away, go to the fish farm at Rothiemurchus (next to Aviemore), cos Henry visits their loch (a very small one with a hide, not that Henrys bothered!) every evening, and because he proves as popular as the fishing, the staff their are more than pleased to welcome visitors to watch him fish rather than fish yourselves. You get excellent views, and ideal photo opportunities should you wish to capture Henry taking the trout!
A number of Osprey nests around Aviemore this year, ensuring a visit there can allmost certainly reult in a good days birding.
PS the crested tits at Loch Garten are exploding in numbers!
