Gull ID, Port Aransas, Tx. (1 Viewer)

While getting on the ferry to get from Aransas Pass to Port Aransas, my wife noticed a different gull on the water right next to the boat before we finished loading with vehicles. Since I'm gull challenged I will need some assistance. I got out of the vehicle and took some pics. The bird never flew before we started off on our journey to Port A. The only activity I saw it do was to dive head first into the water with its rear sticking up out of the water. I have a guess based on my scan of Sibley's.

Since I'm away from my home in San Antonio, I had to take pics of the original pics on the LCD via my iPhone, so not the best, but maybe enough to help those more gull capable.

Thx for ur help.

Your welcome. I think if you had had the link to your photos placed in the middle of your post, rather than at the bottom, you may have had more people coming in and a confirmation of my ID. The link kinda looks like a 'signature' after your name. EX: my blogs that are highlighted 'http:' at the bottom of my posts. Some people might have thought you forgot to upload your photos.
