ID Help: Blue-Green "dragonfly" and yellow "butterfly" (Yreka, CA, USA)

Taken at Greenhorn Park, Yreka, CA.

A little ID help would be appreciated. I can barely half-ID birds; bugs elude me. But I'll photograph any animal that will hold still for the camera...the natural world is just too fascinating a place not to. ;)

  1. A yellow butterfly/moth.
  2. Blue-Green dragonfly/damselfly.

I'm a sucker for swallowtails, and getting a clear photo of a damselfly was a nice bonus. I'm not a huge "bug lover" but I do enjoy the challenge of photographing these small, nigh tiny, members of the animal kingdom.

Thank you for the help with the insect IDs!
