Spain: grasshopper/cricket ID (1 Viewer)

Can anyone tell me what these two are, please? Both were in the Picos de Europa. I think the second may be a Great Green Bush-Cricket, but I know very little about insects.

Thanks for that, aeshna5. It was certainly an impressive creature. It landed on the windscreen of our car as we were driving down a mountain and hitched a lift to the bottom. It was a little disconcerting driving with that in the way! When we stopped it was most reluctant to leave and had to be chivvied. It flew off about 10 feet, hovered a bit and dropped into some grass.

The brown one was of a more typical grasshopper size, but not particularly small.
