Battery charger. (1 Viewer)

Hi all, I have just checked out the Panasonic VW-BC20EB-K battery charger for the VW-VBN 130 & 260 batteries and the price is around £60.
There is also a charger on the web made by Expro that covers this charger at around £12
Do members think it is safe to use a third party charger or like batteries stick to Panasonic?

I use cheap chargers for back up - most of the time I use the manufacturer's supplied unit and swap batteries on the camera, however, on holiday I don't want to take the camera out of use to charge batteries so I use cheap chargers. They are also compact and easily adapted to different wall sockets. I havn't had any problems with any charger, but they are rarely used.
I do mistrust fast chargers in principle however, which is why I don't use them that much.
I recently sent a question to Expro regarding a battery I bought from them (not for Panasonic) and got a rapid and polite response - so they are in my good books.
