Small addition to Prof. William G. George (1925-1992) US ornithologist in HBW Alive. His middle name is William Gordon George to see in his Ph. D. thesis The taxonomic significance of the tongue musculature of passerine birds from year 1961 here.

@ Björn My input was rudimentary regarding the discovery of the name. I just added the middle name (which was not present at the time of my post) and did not even check if dedication was for this gentleman

But to make it a little bit more complete the bird we talk about is to find here and Michael deserved the honor of being mentioned for good reasons.:t:
