I recently came across the following new book,

'The Naming of Australia's Dragonflies', by Ian Endersby & Heinrich Fliedner, 2015. Busybird Publishing, Eltham, Victoria, Australia. xiii + 278 pp.
ISBN 978-1-925260-62-5 (paperback).

As the title suggests it is limited in scope to the Odonata of Australia. However, it is full of useful information, and contains chapters on authors, collectors, etymology, and grammar, providing a useful reference in any natural history library. Like my HBWAlive Key to Scientific Names in Ornithology, most of the generic entries contain extracts from the original descriptions/diagnoses.
