A friend of mine took this picture in Windsor Park (UK), he is an experienced SE Asian birder and photographer, but did not have a guide book, what do you think?

Thanks

Oh Colin, we're talking trees here mate.

Definitely Willow, Steve.

As for the bird, I prefer the name 'Hedge Accentor'. Strange 'aura' round the bird, I noticed. Another 'Close Encounter of the Blurred Kind'.

:t:

Speaking of the bird, definitely a Dunnock. Possibly a younster looking at the untidy less distinct plumage unless it's a bit fluffed up on a cold day.

You're all wrong!

I have it on good authority from my head gardener that it is a member of the genus Prunus, probably an ornamental cherry.

Nice pic of a Dunnock, though!

B :)
