Putative Dotterel (C. morinellus) in Ontario (1 Viewer)

Peter C.

...just zis guy, you know?
Found Saturday, Oct. 03, not seen (that I know of) since.

If good, then WOW! |8.|

New for the province, possibly for the country ... normally only shows up on this continent in W. Alaska (and not often even there.)

I am not at all familiar with the species, but this seems like a pretty convincing photo.

Well, it rather seems I've missed the boat ... as twitchers go, I'm a pretty sad story - didn't even look at the local bird listserve all weekend, puttered around the house yesterday, hanging curtains and killing Zombies (don't ask). In any case, those who did go yesterday all dipped.

Still, quite a bit less of a trip than Gambell or some such place!
