Found this bat on a Cornish cliff path today. Anybody has an idea of what species if possible from these pics

Incidentally you might not want to handle bats without gloves or some sort of barrier between you and them. I'm not sure if bat rabies is present in UK Common Pips but it certainly is in Daubenton's - another common British bat - so you don't want to get bitten, and if you don't even know what species you've got, caution is sensible.

It didn't look injured so it was put in a dark crevice in the rocks. Unfortunately it did bite my girlfriend who found it, a couple of times! Anyway she did pop into A&E and they said the risk of rabies is very low. Seems Daubenton's is the one with the greater risk
