Digiscoping with Nikon D5000 (1 Viewer)

Hello Everyone,

My wife loves to take bird/butterfly pictures, as well as other wildlife. She uses a Nikon D5000. I'm thinking of buying digiscoping equipment for her for Christmas. I would like to spend less than $500 for everything, if possible. Any recommendations?
