Hey everyone. I'm excited to have found this forum!

I've been a bird watcher for only about 2 years, but it now plays a big part of my life. I currently live in Philadelphia, but I have many travels ahead of me.

I also love taking bird photos. I'm still learning about the best ways to capture the avian creatures, so if anyone has any advice, please share!

Hi there and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum :t:

We’re glad you found us and please join in wherever you like ;)

Hello beanrock, and welcome to the forum. We have a large photography forum on here, where you can find all sorts of information. Looking forward to seeing some of your posts in the gallery.

Thanks everyone!

It's great to see how international this forum is!

I will be in the Everglades (FLORIDA) in January. Does anyone know of any bird hot spots?

Hi again Beanrock

Have a look in the excellent Opus article for the Everglades. Section 4.2 lists many areas of interest for the site.
