Can anyone let me know the difference between these 2 lens. Apart from the price. The Nikon AF-S VR Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED Lens is alot more expensive than the Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G VR Lens. Is it the better buy. thanks

I have the 55-300 and am quite happy with it. It was recomended over the other by the guy I deal with at the local camerra shop and the reviews seem to bear him out. Not extremly good in low light but super zooms in this price range aren't. I would save the money if I were you, I did.
