Bubo bubo is category I protected species so it is highly endangered species here. Also, in the lowland forest habitat the species is much harder to observe than in montane habitats (... or in Helsinki City center at some supermarket roof :).

You should ask the moderators to move this to the book section or replicate it there.

Ordered - it looks too interesting to miss and at €26.60 not overpriced these days .... just a shame about the €15 postage!

Bloody hell John, have you moved to Australia!

That's such a pity, I think it will seriously affect foreign sales, I'll certainly wait until it becomes available elsewhere, if it does.

Nope, still in Kent! My daughters dutifully having listened to hints & got me pretty much all of my new 'wanted' bird books for my recent birthday, but I've got a few quid for a present burning a hole in my pocket. Being impatient I couldn't wait although I suspect one of the specialist wildlife book firms will stock it before too long and postage will thus be much reduced.

The cheaper option to get the book would be straight from Loodusfoto (http://www.loodusfoto.ee/). Just drop them an e-mail. Inside the EU, book + the postage would be around 33 EUR. If buying several books, then the cost of the book would be even less.
