Are there any night flying butterflies Rafael?

A

Eheheh... well they're all Lepidoptera, both moths and butterflies, the division is a bit arbitrary/artificial between moths and butterflies (what I really meant was that it wasn't a moth... ;) ). However, there are indeed night time flying "true butterflies" (Rhopalocera), mainly in family Hedylidae, but also some Nymphalids (e.g. genus Brassolis, are crepuscular and also nocturnal).
Here's a short note on some Panamanian species for example: http://www.stri.si.edu/sites/publications/PDFs/Aiello Nocturnal butterflies .pdf
