I made a trip to Ireland last week and shot this image near Cobh. I'm not too familiar with birds of the UK, and have consulted a number of references to help ID her, but have come up empty-handed. Any ideas? Thanks.

Thanks Owen. The thought of it being a Starling crossed my mind at one point, but not knowing the native species and all, I ruled it out. I appreciate the assistance.

It would be the same here if I went to the US as I'm not familiar with the Birds of Canada.;) Ger.
