On a trip to northern Costa Rica with a NatGeo expedition in early December, I got a photo of this bird, with the white wing bars, but cannot find anything like it in my field guide! We were on a long walk in the Punta Zapatol area.

Thanks in advance for help with this!

Possibly an oriole, but seems to have a bill that looks too large ? I’m not clear on whether it’s a leaf or its bill I’m seeing - bit blurry.

If forced, and only if, I'd say great crested flycatcher due to the extensive pale area I think I can see at the bill base. But you can't really make a definitive judgement with a photo like this.
