Albino Mallard? Sefton Park Liverpool UK (today) (1 Viewer)

Doubt highly it's a mallard, bill looks proportionally small.......some sort of ornamental bird developed for the collector......similar lines along what is known as a "calling" duck by wildfowl enthusiasts. Pure albino would show pink eyes?

I think this may be a leucistic Mandarin or Wood Duck. Head/bill shape looks slightly wrong for a "Call Duck" (dwarf domestic mallard type) and I have also never seen one with a bill as red as this. A side-on photo would probably determine it better in terms of structure.

Does this help?

Sorry about the blurred images as my camera's AF had gone haywire!
