Hi All

A few snaps from the Moors from this afternoon. I'm guessing that the Tern is of the Arctic Variety and the Gull is a Black Headed one, however i can't be sure with all of the plumeage changes i keep being told of. The Sparrow Hawk is a Sparrow Hawk, i hope i got that one correct.

The Trust are carrying out a soil quality survey at the flashes tomorrow morning Thus there will be disturbance.
The Work party at the Moors will be working at the West side undertaking tree management.

3 Yellow Wags around cattle this morning, numerous Pied. For a while the Hedge was alive with finches and 2 siskins were noted. 2 kestrels were over the transmitter field and the Sprawk passed over the very quiet flashes.

I was pleased to see 3 Snipe showing well from the east Moors hide. No Arctics.

Was reviewing my year list this afternoon trying to get to grips with Word 2010 on my new laptop and realised had not included Goldfinch and Mistle Thrush .. .humble apologies .. so am infact on 123 )

2 Kingfishers at Upton!

;)Hi there

Some of you may know me, the regular visitor to the Water Rail hide who is never usually on the ball and always missing some good shots (which Rob knows about!). I was asked if I would upload a couple of my pics taken yesterday of the 2 Kingfishers so here they are. I'm fairly new to this site so need to work my way round it so I have no idea how to include any pics with this post on here so have put the flickr links if anyone would like to see them.
