Panama - Bocas del Toro: Groove-billed Ani? (1 Viewer)

Dear users,

i took these pictures on the 6th of August 2018 on Isla Colón (Bocas del Toro, Panama).

It should be a Groove-billed Ani, right? But I don´t really see a grooved bill... Smooth-billed shouldn´t occur at Bocas del Toro!?

I think I see hints of groves especially on the second image

FWIW, I can see grooves on the lower mandible
