Cormorant - Highlands

This cormorant didn't have a white chest, but he does have white feathers under his wing. This is a cormorant, isn't it?

Yep, adult [Great] Cormorant; the white thigh patch is only there in adult summer plumage.

Thanks N, I'm a total noob. Yesterday I thought all cormorants had white chests. This place and Mr Google are certainly educational.

Here he is taking a walk along Brora beach. Had no idea cormorants went for walks along the beach.
