Is anyone familiar with the aging of Egyptian Nightjar? if so what do you think the age of the bird shown here is?
I am interested in the aging of the bird as it appears to have very loose feathers, which I seem to remember indicates a young bird, although it may be due to moult? Egyptian Nightjars are not meant to breed in Saudi Arabia, although they are seen in the summer months occasionally, so if it is a young bird it will be a very interesting record.
Thanks for any help
