Good morning.
Just saying hello from Virginia Beach Virginia. I’ve been studying birds for the last 45 years in 39 states and five countries. Last week I observed a pair of black bellied whistling ducks in Norfolk Virginia whilst watching a small flock of Canada geese in a retention pond behind a target store. I’ve only observed them once before in south Florida five years ago in August. I have never observed them here on the Virginia coast before although this is in their migratory route in spring and fall. Very cool , got good pics.
