Sri Lanka trip report

Some of my friends and I visited Sri Lanka in November to see the endemic birds. We went to Sinharaja, Kithulgala, and Nuwara Eliya. The highlights of the trip were wonderful sightings of the rare Serendib's scops owl in Kithulgala, and the Ceylon whistling thrush at Horton's Plains.

Please go through my photo-and video-blog of the trip. Here are the links for part I
and part II http://birdsonthebrainetc.wordpress....-nuwara-eliya/

I would really appreciate your comments :)

Nice report Uma - you saw some similar birds to me but took much better pictures!

Really enjoyed that UMA - must get to see that special forest before it becomes a tea plantation
