Quick-find Index for Birds of Southeast Asia

I have created a quick-find index again. This time for the compact edition of Birds of Southeast Asia by Robson. The index has its personal touch, meaning it's tailored to my own needs. However, it can easily be adapted if one wishes to do so. For this purpose, I have attached both a pdf and a Word version. The size fits on the outside back cover of the book. It just has to be cut to fit. My Princeton 2005 edition has a convenient transparent sleeve. So I simply slide the index underneath on the outside where there is no relevant info that one might want to use in the field.

The numbers are page numbers of the text. Some major bird groups are underlined. However, as I am - at this point at least - rather not familiar with lots of the bird names of the tropical Asian avifauna, the index contains a fair number of those names, even if it's not an important group. But in case I encounter an Iora, Myzornis, Sibia or whatever on a guided tour, I might want to be able to quickly consult the book at the relevant pages. And when in a hurry, complete indices tend to be too complete, so to speak. Meaning taking up too much time to find what one wants.

Feel free to use this index. And please let me know of any mistakes, thanks.

Finally managed to produce the same index in a 3 column version which allows to place it vertically on the back of the book. Might be more convenient.

Enlarged and with plate numbers

Having returned from a trip to the area with friends, I revised this quick-find index according to comments received. For one, plate numbers seemed more desirable than page numbers. And several additional categories have now been added. Again, I have uploaded both a pdf version and a Word version that can be modified to one's own needs.

The old version we had on the trip was most useful for most of us.

If you prefer the old list, be aware that there is a printing error: Leiothrix is on page number 266 not 166.
