My familiarity with flycatchers starts and ends with Eastern Phoebe :)
Found in open area flying between small brushes and small tree.

I'd say Willow/Alder Flycatcher due to its beak size and not-so-prominent eyering (although a shot from the back to see the primaries would be ideal). You are going to need an audio recording to ID this guy to species, assuming you do not remember what it sounded like or if it even called at all.
