Big Decline in wild birds in UK.

UK wild bird indicators published today for 1970 -2018 show a 9% decrease in all wild birds over that period.

There has been a 56% decrease in farmland birds, a 27% decrease in woodland birds and a 22% decrease in seabirds over that period.

The declines continue in the last 5 years for farmland and woodland birds.
