    Basking on a sunny morning, I know they can vary a lot in colour, but I've never seen one as yellow as this one!

    Had a couple of hours free on Sunday afternoon, so went looking for some adders. Was very pleased to see three! Here's one that was curled up absorbing the hazy sunshine.

    A male and female I think, the stronger marked one was considerably smaller than the other, about 35cm long and it's head only about the size of my little finger nail Taken in the same place as my previous posts so probably the same snakes
