    Another one of Lanzarote's specialties. I found that Barbary Partridges do not wander close to drivable tracks and so there is little chance to photograph them from the car.     The only places you may have a chance of seeing these lovely birds are on Gibraltar rock and Sardinia - not sure about the status of these birds on other Mediterranean islands.
