This fellow decided to check out the part of the fence that the Northern Flicker was on yesterday. This particular spot is a favorite way station for just about every bird species that come into the yard.
The wild crows around here are very shy and cautious around humans. However I have a family of four that are getting quite friendly. This one was literally just outside a window, cawing loudly to get my attention so I'd give it a treat. Of course, I did. lol
I was wondering why the peanuts were going so fast. Looks like this fellow shouldn't have been on the branch below his buddies. It's time for a bath after dinner!
Oops, I meant to say "American Crow". Here cawing loudly, letting me know he's out there, and expecting something to eat. People ask me why I didn't get another dog when mine passed a few years ago. I said I have things here (crows) that eat as much as a dog so I don't need another one.
I have a family of three crows that swing by the yard most every day. They will land on this fence, or a tree branch nearby, and caw loudly until I come out and give them something to eat.

One of a pair that drop by daily and wait for me to give them as treat. They come closer and closer to alert me to their presence. This guy was just outside my living room window. You look in that eye and see a real intelligence there.
I am making assumptions, but, considering the fact that the poor Kingfisher was still in the area, I am pretty certain that she was the victim of this Crow's kleptomania. I missed it, but another Crow tried to make THIS Crow a victim too. They briefly fought over the fish. Noisy cusses...
