American Goldfinches on Pine Cones

Here is the lady of one of the pairs. I have several pairs of Goldfinches now back to the backyard. They like the Red-bellied Woodpeckers had disappeared for a while, not sure if they were family raising or some other reason, but they are back now and a welcome addition of color to the yard.
