We got back from our travels yesterday early evening. Got unpacked, went to the pub, watched footy, had a couple of jars. It was nice to sleep in our own bed, for a change. We had a great time in Norfolk and Suffolk, but with only one days decent weather during our fortnight away...
Right on time, the large flocks of robins have arrived in our neighborhood to enjoy the berries in our native trees. This guy came up close while I was trying out the 300mm lens.
On the day I got this one my yard was surrounded by literally hundreds of these guys calling out from the 50 or so trees surrounding my yard. This happens only in rainy or very overcast days and I can't figure out why.
