antillean crested hummingbird

I have found it difficult to get a decent shot of this gorgeous bird while reflecting light from his crestthis is the first.

I finally managed to get an acceptable shot of this little guy. He is so fast and flighty that he has been a major challenge.

I caught this little guy in a Flamboyant tree and didn't notice his shining crest until I downloaded the photos. Sometimes you get lucky!

This little guy is very quick and an infrequent visitor, as the Green-Throated Carib chases him away every time he dares to visit.

It's so nice when he stops for a second.

This one wanted her picture taken and posed for a few shots.

Antillean Crested Hummingbird (Orthorhyncus cristatus exilis) Four subspecies are recognized including the nominate. Only subspecies exilis is mapped for Puerto Rico. Photographed in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, USA. Urban setting, disturbed tropical lowland rainforest at ca. 20 m (66 ft) elevation.

Saw plenty of males on a recent trip to Grenada (no decent images though) but would be grateful for confirmation that this is an AC Hummingbird.
